Just recently we set up a new dye studio for the business, It is SO much easier and such a happy place for me. I can’t believe what I had to do to dye on a daily basis before, You can’t even imagine the mess and it was in my kitchen. My ocd was going haywire. Thats just what you do when you love something so much I guess.
I also have other huge news, I now have the hubby helping out with the business side of things. So be gentle on him peeps! haha! He’s learning and brand new to the fibre world. Ive got to say I’m pretty impressed with how fast he’s learning the bases though.

This year has been an incredible year. We’ve had ups and downs but all in all it has been memorable. I am so thankful for everything I have. I love the feeling I get when I give back. This time I am doing something different. It’s my favourite time of year and what better than […]
Have you ever wanted something so bad that you would do anything to obtain it? I have! But it took a long long time, I was terrified!
My first goal was to finally have a self sustaining business that was successful. I never thought in my wildest dreams that would come true and I know how awful that sounds, but I really didn’t know if I could actually handle success. I didn’t grow up with a silver spoon in my mouth so if I wanted something I had to work for it and that still remains true which I’m extremely thankful for. It taught me some very valuable lessons that could never be taught by anyone. On the other hand It also made my dream harder to achieve.
Starting out was hard and I found quite a few challenges along the way but with alot of time (more like years, I’m not kidding) and practice I went from “ok! I think I can do this” to ” you bet your arse I can do this!”
I mean let’s be honest here, who starts out with a thought and really believes it will become all they dreamed it would. There were times I wanted to throw in the towel, scream or cry (or all the above) but I feel so passionate that I could never last a day being angry. Im not completely at my dream goal but I’m getting there. I have some amazing people backing me and believing in me (ahem, that includes you) I’m so incredibly thankful for each and every one of you!
Have I mentioned that my yarn is now in stores? It’s an incredible feeling! The stores That currently have my yarn available for purchase are http://www.stashlounge.com & http://www.letsknit.ca and I’m working with a few more to complete orders! That’s freaking exciting I tell Ya!
I am so freaking excited to have finally opened a
REAL online store, as much as I loved Etsy, I have officially outgrown
it. It was just time to move on and expand. This has been one of my
goals for a very..very long time, and I am slowly checking them off one
goal at a time.
I want everyone to celebrate this HUGE milestone with
me so I’ve decided to give away a 50.00 (cad) shopping spree to spend
on my new online store. Eep! so Exciting!
